“Every
photographic
moment
is
unique.
For me,
photography
is
capturing
that
moment,
then
sharing
it with
the
world,
and
preserving
it for
an
eternity. "
I
started
taking
pictures
as a
young
boy and
never
stopped.
I began
shooting
events
for
hire,
such as
weddings,
sporting
events,
etc. in
the
1980’s.
I am
always
available
for
shooting
those
types of
significant
events
(See
Services).
I
really
enjoy
the art
of
photography.
I like
the
viewer
to study
my
photographs
for the
deeper
meaning,
to look
for the
story
behind
the
photograph.
In
recent
years, I
have
begun
conceptualizing
and
creating
photographic
projects
that
celebrate
the
contributions
of
African
Americans.
As a
people,
we are
still
marginalized
in
America,
and many
of our
contributions
and our
father’s
contributions
are
ignored.
That is
what
Souls of
Valor
was all
about.
It was
about
our
fathers,
our
aunts,
our
uncles,
and
grandparents
who
fought
proudly
and
bravely
for
America
during
World
War II;
but
who are
never
celebrated
in the
movies.
It’s
like we
were
invisible.
I love
capturing
the
culture
of New
Orleans
in my
photography.
The
Mardi
Gras
Indians,
second
line
parades,
the Jazz
Fest. I
also
love
photographing
other
cultures.
I have
learned
so much
from my
photographic
ventures
to
Haiti,
Cuba,
Costa
Rica.

. I
hope you
find a
photograph
that is
meaningful
to you
or to
someone
close to
you -
something
that you
must
have for
that
special
space in
your
office
or den,
for a
friend.
Photographs
are a
window
to
immortality.
That is
how I
like to
use this
intriguing
art
form.
Take a
closer
look and
you will
see…”
